I never imagined they would have so much personality, I thought I was just going to give them a warm safe place to live out their days. They definitely win over everyone they meet. What a cutie! I am sorry that she had to leave. How is Talulah doing? Aww, thanks for asking, I hope your girl is feeling a little less mournful herownself. Talulah is hanging in there, she rearranged the cage the first night, probably looking for her friend. I brought her along to the vet's with Crazy Legs, I don't know how much they know, but I thought it would be better if she was at least somewhat involved in the process. I know that the last two nights she slept outside of the pigloo instead of inside with Crazy Legs, and the vet had mentioned that was another of "the signs" to look out for as we neared the end. Talulah is eating well and trundling along on the wheel, and she toodles around on the computer table when I'm futtsing around online. She's my gregarious one, the one who's never met a stranger, but yesterday when I went to bring her out of her cage and comfort her a little, she puffed up all her prickers and stayed that way for a good long while. She's never done that before, so clearly she's a little out of sorts. Today though, she didn't mind coming out to socialize for a bit and chow on some dinner. I take that as a good sign.
