Guest BlueCrab
Trixie get a lot of the largesse from our garden, including fresh green beans. Our Chinese Red Noodle Beans have come into their own in this heat wave, and I'm inundated with them. Anyone know if they're safe for dogs? I've checked various "don't feed this" sort of lists, and can't find any reference, but these are pretty odd, so I'd like to make sure before I share them. Anyone know? Guest Stardude82
They seem to be a breed of Vigna unguiculata which includes black eyed peas. Lots of people feed those to dogs. I'm not sure about the pods, probably alright. Might want to cook them first. This dog doesn't seem to have a problem with the green variety: Edited August 1, 2012 by Stardude82
