Her mom emailed me yesterday with just a simple "she's gone" Nothing else, simple...and very sad. When I met her forever home people, knew that my Dee Dee would be loved. The first words out of her new owners mouth were "Oh, she's the most beautiful Greyhound I have ever seen" I knew whe would always be loved. I'll never forget her saying that. I am so sorry for their loss, I can't stop crying....I know how hard it is to lose a grey or any dog for that matter... Wishing her speed to the bridge... See you later Sugar, Mommies love you.. I can't believe shes gone..and i cant stop crying. ..big thanks to Zephyrsmom who posted..what a great friend and guide she's been for me. I know when I've let a special foster dog go to their forever home, they've taken a part of my heart with them. But to know that they were happy and cherished is such a gift.
