cmc333 Posted July 16, 2012 Share Posted July 16, 2012 Which antibiotic is Jilly on now? When my one little girl had recurring UTI's the only thing that would work was baytril. Also, whenever I have to pill my extremely suspicious westie (she is POSITIVE I am poisoning her), I have found buttering the pill and popping it down her throat works. Unpleasant for both of us, but it works and takes just seconds. I would think Jilly's mouth is about the same size as a westie (and teeth just as sharp!) Prayers and white light to Jilly Bean. So far the marshmallows are still working, for that I am grateful because she's bitten me about 3 times now trying to get my fingers out of her mouth. We just sent another urinalysis in for culture. She was on Clavamox (the most sensitive) which ended about 4weeks ago. Didn't mean to hijack! Hope they figure out which antibiotic is the best for JB. I'm guessing this is going to be the norm around her from now on. She's still eating well. Sleeping a bit and will get spurts where she wants to play. She's sticking close to me all the time now which is okay with me. We should be getting some new antibiotics for her UTI tonight. That's about it for now.
