macoduck Posted July 9, 2012 Share Posted July 9, 2012 (edited) My big handsome 13 y.o. boy is limping, holding up his front paw. The wrist looks a little swollen. There's nothing in his pads. He looks sad. The other dogs are acting like they know something's not right. Vet can't get him in until 4pm today. I wish I had some Tramadol to give him. I only have Rimadyl and that won't give him quick relief. I do have Valium if his stress level increases. Poor old fella got bit by a brown recluse spider a week after he came to us. This is *different*. I thought of that too. He's fooled me before with a slight limp after running in the yard. But at his age, my head just goes to the bad place.
