On another note, I attended a seminar at GIG and the vet neurologist said that anaesthesia isn't risky for older dogs, it's just a myth. However, I wouldn't want my grey to have to undergo surgery but I thought I'd mention it anyway...hoping Shelby will heal and feek better soon. It's supposed to come out on Wednesday and of course I am not home to take her is so Lynn will have to. I know she is not looking forward to it. Lynn is taking her back in as she started bleeding badly again today and she had brought her in earlier in the day due to this and decided to bring her back home after they told her it should clot again but it hasn't and now it's getting out of control. So poor Shelby will be there overnight at least as I believe the tied off vein is bleeding again as the description from Lynn on the amount of blood tells me something else has gone wrong.
