He's running in his sleep. He's hasn't done that in a week.

And we just came in from last out and he came up the SIDE of the ramp.

Come Norm, eat for your Moms! That picture of him really tore at me. I have specail feeling for the black & his grey face is so sweet. You can also use a blender & water to make "soup" from his regular food. Noelle's food must be done this way, lots cheaper than baby food.

WE HAD A POOP!!!!

 

 

First one in day's. I'm not surprised as with no intake there's nothing for output.

 

 

Still won't eat. But he's fighting the syringe which in my mind is a good thing. He's cranky and cranky is GOOD.

 

However, hes now peeing his beds. I'm wondering if he's sleeping so heavy he just doesn't wake up.

 

So today is cleaning day. Pillows. Carpets. Etc.

 

 

(I think I'm going to hold off on requesting X-rays. What's going in is coming out so that's a good sign. Right?)

This is a really good idea. I hope he starts eating today!

I know you might not want to hear this-- believe me- I get it but, your dog is ill- dogs just do not eat for this extensive amount of time without an under lying cause-- and now he's becoming urinary incontinent? Just because he defecated once really means nothing.

At the very least he needs to go back to the vet for a work up- blood work, rads, possible ultrasound etc.

Please accept this advice as it is intended--only well wishes.

His bloodwork was all normal and doc said he could see nothing that jumped out at him. I don't know why the peeing all of a sudden.

 

He's starting to take cookies. He's cleaning himself again. He's dreaming. I even got the beginnings of a roo tonight. I think we're getting there. But if he takes even the smallest step back, vet is right up the street.

He has full out roo'd. He has pooped. He has cleaned himself. He has fluffed his blankets.

 

 

 

He has even deemed Maci somewhat ok to sleep near!!!!

I'm so glad he is feeling better!! He is so cute in the blanket fluffing picture. Those are nice blankets!

Fairly certain they came from BJs or Costco. Easy to carry. Easy to wash. Not super thick (hence the poofing) but easier to wash peenout of.

breakfast was a success today! we even added some kibble in and he ate it! It did take two sittings. I'm not surprised. I would imagine its hard to eat anything once you've had nothing for a while. Oh, and he's really getting annoyed at me and the syringe! I'll take that as a good sign too!!!
