oldrunners
My daughter and her husband will be adopting a pound puppy next weekend. The pup will be at least 8 weeks old by then. They are strongly considering feeding raw, and have done their research, but can't seem to find any concrete data as to when to start. Some say feeding to puppy is fine, others say to wait. Does anyone have any advice I can pass along? I've sent them all the dog food and raw feeding info/plans I could find from here... They live in Europe, if that makes a difference. OOPS! It isn't a greyhound pup, so if this should be somewhere else, Mods, please move it.
JAJ2010
I would recommend they join the raw_lite Yahoo group. Many people on there have raw feed puppies. Starting is as easy as tossing them some chicken. From what I've gathered you just feed more for growing puppies Quote ------ Jessica

JAJ2010
There are some crazy raw feeding people out there but this group won't kill her for asking about veggies, grinding meat, or kibble. LOL they are good people Quote ------ Jessica
oldrunners
The amusing part of this tale is that my DD and SIL are ovo-lacto-vegetarians!
