joejoesmom
We are celebrating Joe's 18 month anniversary of his leg amputation. On July 28, 2010 my sweet Joey had his front leg amputated due to that rat b*st*rd osteosarcoma. As of his last x-rays (2 months ago) his lungs were still clear of visible metastases. However, I think his lumbar stenosis is bothering him some. I go back to OSU in 3 weeks for more x-rays and will mention it to them. It could also just be that it has been a couple of months since his corns were hulled. All in all, life is good for my JoeJoe. He still insists on playing while I get everyone's dinner ready. You can hear him throughout the whole house. He still insists on special meals (no plain kibble for him!) and likes me to hold the bowl as he eats. He loves his neck rubs, chin rubs, ear rubs and pretty much any part of the body rubs. He still despises tooth brushing but puts up with it. He is still clumsy and goofy and makes me laugh. He is the most sensitive of my dogs and always seems to sense my mood. He is just one special hound. Jane
