sweetdogs
Does anyone have any idea what the alanine transaminase (ALT) range is for greys? MistysDad I don't think it's different than other dogs. But I believe it can vary a lot & not be indicative of something serious (as long as everything else looks OK). I've had it be out of range for my hounds & the advice was to run the bloodwork again in a week or 2. Here is the link to greyhound bloodwork. It does mention at the end that greyhounds have higher "liver enzyme activities" but doesn't mention any figures. Quote Deirdre with Conor (Daring Pocobueno), Keeva (Kiowa Mimi Mona), & kittehs Gemma & robthomas. Our beloved angels Faolin & Liath, & kittehs Mona & Caesar. Remembering Bobby, Doc McCoy, & Chip McGrath. "He feeds you, pets you, adores you, collects your poop in a bag. There's only one explanation: you are a hairy little god."
