Guest TinasTroops
You would attached a Pet Oxygen Recovery Mask to the end of it.

BatterseaBrindl
I know people who use them on horses. The equine equipment is several hundred dollars. I also have a friend who is a physician and she just uses a regular oxygen mask made for humans on her horse. It fits very well over one nostril, and she then puts the medication / puffer up against the open end and administers the meds. She's been doing this for years. She said that both nostrils do not need to be covered....they channel into the same nasal cavity, and then into the lungs, and that putting the meds into only one nostril is just fine. Her daughter is a vet and agrees....I have seen her daughter administer the meds this way numerous times. Perhaps an infant sized one mask would be suitable for a hound? Certainly worth asking your vet.... Quote Nancy...Mom to Sid (Peteles Tiger), Kibo (112 Carlota Galgos) and Joshi. Guest tinams8
When my son was a baby the doctor said to just hold the end of the tubing near his mouth as he slept. He didn't even notice it. Maybe you could even tape the tubing to the dog's muzzle if they will tolerate that better than a mask.
Guest TinasTroops
Thanks Nancy. It is what my Vet has recomended. I know people who use them on horses. Her daughter is a vet and agrees....I have seen her daughter administer the meds this way numerous times. Perhaps an infant sized one mask would be suitable for a hound? Certainly worth asking your vet.... They do have one for dogs but it is not the same as a Nebulizer. I have used an AeroCat on the kitties before- maybe they make one for canines?? Thanks for all the tips on how to administer the meds guys but I am only looking for people who have purchased and used a specific machine and or any recomendations on machines.
