Guest peacehound
I want to order some Thera-paws for Peace, she has a toe joint that is giving her some problems in the left front leg. Should she have two of the boots for both front legs or just on the sore one? I was thinking for balance/coordination/easier walking. She also has corns on the bad leg so I am hoping the boot helps. Also, does anyone know where I should order online? I just ask because if it will benefit some greyhound group that sales them I would rather order from that site instead of a retailer. Thanks
Guest Plygreygirl
I just purchased in April new ones for my Mia! It was time to replace the ones I had for 12 years!! I used goinghomegreyhounds.org Like you if you can get them from a group I feel it's kind of win win! I needed new ones and they get a little something on the sale. Tallgreydogmom
http://gemgreyhounds.org/ GEMS, Greyhounds of Eastern Michigan, also has them if you want to shop around. o_rooly
I've always heard that you should at least put a boot on each side if there's one bad foot, if not put boots on ALL feet. However, I only put a boot on Aston's one bad foot, hoping he'll just use that one more and start to balance everything else out -- he has used three legs most of the time since he got off the track, it seems. (We've had him for two years out of the 6 he's spent off the track.) Thera-Paws are GREAT. Hope this helps! Quote every day a tiny adventure. Guest Amy_Bee
Gretchen has corn issues on her right front paw and wears a Thera-Paw on each front paw. I think it evens things so they don't walk with a lopsided gait.
