Is it possible for a greyhounds front leg to go dislocated and pop in and out ???

Champ seems to have done something but we can't find an injury ,, he limps but then there are times he walks fine ...anyone ever have anything like this ..I have been watching him and if it doesn't get better I guess a trip to the vet will be in order

check for both tick borne diseases,a corn(but he might be wearing it down when he walks, there are lots of good pics of corns on gt) and i hate to say, maybe a bone xray. let's hope for a corn, how old is your dog?

emily had all of the above, w/ lyme there was a noted change 2 weeks after doxy was started. w/ the corn i learned to hull, murry pharm cream sounds interesting. we were hoping for lyme again but her demise came w/ osteo, in her shoulder. i hope you have a corn, the easiest to fix.

i hope this doesn't sound too abrupt, but it's time to check w/ your vet. good luck

If it were a dislocation, he'd be in a lot more pain I think. More likely arthritis, corn, foot injury. Hoping it clears up and sending scritchies for your sweet boy.

Days before I adopted my 10 yo he came up limping on his right front. I was the one who picked him up & drove him to the vet. Xrays were done & it was just arthritis. It flared up when he overdid it but other than that it never got much worse in the 3.5 years he was with us.

Another possibility might be neck pain. My little spaniel mix came up limping on her front left. I couldn't tell but thought it might be her shoulder. It was actually her neck. All it took was one vet visit with aquapuncture & quick, painless chiro adjustment to set her right.

Hope your boy is on the mend soon.
