Guest bubbagum
Has anyone tried the "Thundershirt" and if so, how did it work for your dog? Rock is easily frightened by loud noises and seems to be getting worse. Drugs don't work and are not an option. Thanks for any feedback on the Thundershirt product. The internet has great reviews, but would like to hear specifically about greyhounds.

The internet has great reviews, but would like to hear specifically about greyhounds. I haven't had personal experience with the Thundershirt, however, following the July 4th holiday, the grey gab group that I belong to had a very lengthy discussion about the shirt. All of the input was positive for it being extremely helpful since it provides a sense of security. I'll probably get one for my grey that was a little nervous with the fireworks. Posters swear by them. Good luck.
Guest mbfilby
Welcome to GT to the both of you. There have been pretty lengthy discussions on here about that also. Have a look in this topic.
Guest d0ggiem0mma
Please search or do a quick scan in this section, there have been several threads on the topic. To sum it up- they work AMAZING for some dogs, and do nothing for others. Very worth the money to try it though since the company offers a money back guarantee! As for your comments on meds... they do work if they are done right. Most regular vets do not have the training and experience to dose them or combine them correctly. You should try talking to a board certified veterinary behaviorist.
greyhoundgang
Have not tried the Thundershirt, but some do have success with it. I believe it also has a good return policy if it doesn't work. I use holistic remedies. Azmira's Fear has worked for me, which is why Greyhound Gang now carries it for others. It's cheap and natural, and currently on sale.
