racindog
Cash is having another bad pain spell. A substitute vet prescribed Robaxin (unknown mg but pill is only slightly smaller than an Interceptor-is 14mm across AND a 50mg Tramadol-each med twice a day. Does this sound OK for a greyhound? Also I had given her an Interceptor earlier today. Will not use the Robaxin until I confirm it is reasonable/safe with the Tramadol she is currently taking and I hate seeing her in so much pain. Thanks in advance for any opinions or experience!
greylyn
Kieran is just finishing a week of Robaxin (muscle relaxant) plus Tramadol (for pain) along with NovoLexin and Meloxicam. She's doing much better and has had no bad reactions at all. She's not always being too obedient about the vet's "REST" instruction, but I watch her very closely so she can't go running around like , well, like a greyhound! Guest Matt
Mine recently had both, along with Gabapentin -- no problems. The vet who prescribed them belongs to an exclusively ortho specialist group with a very good reputation so I assume he knows what he's doing.
