muddgirl
Two weeks ago we welcomed Batman into our home - he just turned 2 years old. He was rescued by Heart of Texas Greyhound Adoption and fostered with their coordinators for several months. His racing name was CTW Battle Plan, but he never raced due to a training injury on his leg (which he still favors a bit after a good walk). He has been an absolute joy so far - a little separation anxiety during the days at first, but it seems he as gotten used to our schedule - I think a Kong filled with the rest of his breakfast and topped off with peanut butter also helps! Currently squeaker toys are his favorite, but when they are put away he will also toss around stuffies, chew on his tennis ball, and recently he has even started playing tug-of-war. Guest gurehaundo
Hi! I saw your post in the other thread and had to come here to see your Batman. As soon as I saw him, I was like, "Man, he looks a lot like Jac!" It turns out that they have the same dad! How cool is that?!
muddgirl
Hi! I saw your post in the other thread and had to come here to see your Batman. As soon as I saw him, I was like, "Man, he looks a lot like Jac!" It turns out that they have the same dad! How cool is that?! Wow, they do look alike! I think Batman's tuxedo shirt used to be more white - all his white spots have been filling in. Batman has a pretty strong prey drive - he probably gets that from his dad. Guest gurehaundo
Jac barely has any prey drive. He's about as lazy as they come. He doesn't even like to stand up for more than a few seconds. Jac actually never made it off the farm and it is so obvious why.

Batmom
What a doll! I like how his nose is tweaking off to the side in the second pic . Burpdog has a black Batman whom she recently adopted, too. I had a Batman, gone now but fondly remembered. It's a wonderful name for a dog and makes me smile every time I hear or read it.
