fourofem Posted April 24, 2011 Share Posted April 24, 2011 I have been struggling for the past few days trying to come up with a fitting tribute to my boy. Those of you who know Kevin know how very incredibly special he was to me. In the 17 months he was with me he transformed from a growly, snappy, wanting nothing to do with me hound to a happy, smiling, tail wagging, meet me at the door every afternoon, wonderful hound. He was a once in a lifetime find and I am so lucky that part of his lifetime was spent with me. I will miss his roman nosed, snaggle toothed handsomeness every day of my life. I have attempted to put together a slideshow of Kevin's life here with me. It's not fancy...no music or anything like that (you have to click on the picture to start it). Just some pictures (most of him sleeping!) that I've taken this past year or so. He was so awesome and I miss him so much. I cried going through these but looking at them, I can almost tell just where we were at that point in his progress. He was an amazing boy. Thank you to CGA for bending their rules to send him to me. Its hard sometimes, but I'll reflect on the ones who have left & I'm reminded of the things they left behind, the smiles, the light hearted memories. Their individual personalities always make us laugh. Kevin left that door open for another to come in some day....and the new one, will have something about it that will remind you of Kevin Kirtley.
