Newgreymom
Just checking to see what the dosage was for a greyhound on a short term NSAID? I thought 20mg twice daily and my Vet thought that was high....
Guest Energy11
I always give either 10 or 20 mg with my NSAIDS. NO, 20 mg is not too high. But, if you'd rather, you can always break the Pepcid in half :-)) But really ... 20 mg is fine. Good Luck!
Newgreymom
Dee, is that 1 or 2 times a day??
tbhounds
The dosage can vary per veterinarian. The dosage I'm familar with is 0.5mgs/kg. For example a 70lb dog would take 16mgs once daily. 70 divided by 2.2 times 0.5=15.9. Hope this helps.
Guest Energy11
I, personally give (1) whole 20 mg with my NSAIDS, (*Deramaxx), but I give that once a day. Again, if you have to give two doess a day, you CAN half that 20 mg. tbhounds has the EXACT dosage, too, which is very helpful!
