o_rooly
A few days ago, I was just thinking about how spam-free GT is. It's awesome!! You and Trudy do an amazing job keeping this place up. I used to frequent other boards (non-dog), but eventually they have all gotten so over-run that it's depressing. What is the biggest factor in spam protection? Disallowing free email domains? Quote every day a tiny adventure.
Jeff
disallowing freemail helps a lot, we also check registrations, logins, and posts against known spam blacklists.
cmc333
Thank you for being so vigilant on our behalf. We know how much time and effort it takes you and we appreciate how hard you work to keep GT so nice. I'm sure there are times you'd rather being doing something else! Guest KennelMom
I think GT has always been the most spam-free forums I'm a member of. Thanks!
