StridersSis Posted June 26, 2003 Share Posted June 26, 2003 Its been over a year since my precious Winnie Pooh crossed the bridge. She was my whole heart and got me through so many trying times in my life. Ill never forget the day she left me. I got out of my car onto the drive way to see my mom pull up and shake her head, I knew...I was going to take her 2 days later to give her the final gift of love, she wouldnt let me. Sometimes animals love you so much they dont want you to see them go this was her she was so strong my little angel. I kissed her nose goodbye when I left that day and told her I loved her, but It was a different goodbye I felt it. My grandmother said 10 minutes after I left she had a stroke. My mom took her to the vet where she asked if she could call me out of school I would be there in 5 minutes, but he said she was suffering. My mom couldnt have that, and neither would I have wanted that. She was gone. But now I can look back and smile through my tears she was 13 and 1 month and lived everyday as if she was 2. she smiled, she inspired, and I will conquer. She inspired me to become a vet, I will in her honor.
