Guest HappyHarleysMom Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 My vet recommended I start Harley either on dasuquin or arthogen (sp?). He's 10 1/2 and starting to look stiff in his hind legs when he rises. He's had a couple shaky hind leg episodes too. He is not limping. If you've had experience with these supplements, which one do you recommend? I've surfed the internet, but I'm not finding much info regarding results after using either one. All I have found is generic information about price and ingredients. Thanks for your opinions! Quote
Guest kydie Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 I think there is a current thread on this but I have used Dasuquin with MSM for years and swear by it. I have found VetDepot has it the cheapest,,, if anyone knows where it is cheaper please post Quote
DesiRayMom Posted November 25, 2010 Posted November 25, 2010 We use Dasuquin/MSM.....not familiar with arthogen. Quote Blessed is the person who has earned the love of an old dog.
Guest HappyHarleysMom Posted November 26, 2010 Posted November 26, 2010 Thanks DesiRayMom and kydie. Quote

They have all had wear and tear on their joints. We do a loading dose for about two weeks, then one a day. Quote

Guest JudiK Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 Loading dose is 2/day... Dianne shared her vet with me <g> and I believe it was the very best of many good things she has done for me over the years. Quote
