Guest avadogner Posted November 9, 2010 Share Posted November 9, 2010 Hi Greytalk Friends, I have a sneaky feeling that we may be looking at kidney failure with Ava. John's insights of her bowl flipping and food snubbing has made me make her an appt for her to have her renal labs checked. I've been awaiting a kidney transplant for 3 yrs and never related her symptoms to my symptoms. I never eat and my DH fights to get food in me while I fight to get food in her. Today I went back to plain kibble, no broths or anything smelling of meats, added the Brewers Yeast, shredded cheddar cheese (she eats cheese with PB for her meds) and her med/supplements in the kibble. She ate more in one sitting than she has in a week. She even managed to eat some at dinner too. I cried tears of joy. Augie is happy to finish off the 4lbs of venison cube steak though.
