Human Biotene For Dogs

In the thread about ways to keep doggy teeth clean, a couple of members stated that they used the Biotene mouthwash made for humans on their dogs. I've been looking for something to use on my dogs' teeth, so I looked up Biotene and xylitol is the third (I think) ingredient. I thought xylitol was harmful to dogs.. if you are just using a bit of the mouthwash on gauze to wipe your dogs teeth daily, is this not enough xylitol to hurt them? Thanks for any information you can give me!

Yes, normally I wouldn't even think of using one for humans, but someone on here said they used it,so I wanted more information :) I found a website with a lot of oral products for dogs, so I am looking into all of those options now. Thanks guys!
