I've picked a couple rogue fleas off her in the past.. she's never had a reaction like this. I think the collar is a more likely possibility. Batmom asked if it was lined or not.. well it is, but it's adjusted down so small it might as well not be. So the fabric was rubbing on her neck. I gave the collar a good feel last night and though the fabric is silk, it does have VERY FINE metallic-ish threads. And she did wear it all day...
