Nice to meet you, Pepsi2004! I've just lived here since 2006 (originally from Saskatchewan), but I do quite like it :) The scenery is gorgeous, and the proximity to the mountains is excellent. Plus, the size of the city itself.. never takes more than 15-20 minutes to get anywhere!

Yes, Lethbridge really is a jewel - close to the Rockies and Waterton National Park, in the middle of the gorgeous prairies, and winter Chinooks!! I see you're at the U of L - finished my degree there in 1974. quite small then, but loved it.

U of L is still pretty small (8 - 10,000)... but that's likely a lot bigger than it was in 1974. I came here to do graduate work in neuroscience -- weirdly, it has a world-class neuroscience program.

 

Yes, the Chinooks are pretty nice, but I'm not such a fan of the crazy winds that accompany them!
