Sharpshot
Has anyone here ever given their dogs Himalayan Dog Chews? I was at a pet show and got some free samples. My dogs love them. They are made of Yak and Cow Milk, salt and lime juice. They're very hard and they smell mildly like cheese. My dogs enjoy chewing them for a while, then leave them and come back to them later. I'm always a nervous about food/treats with a foreign origin. Does anyone use these? Does anyone know any more about them? I guess I'm mostly concerned about impurities/toxins that may be in them. EllenEveBaz
Never even heard of them. Lime and dogs don't seem to go together, but obviously yours think differently. LaFlaca
I purchased one for Wendy. She was supremely uninterested. Guest greygirls2
One out of my 3 loves them! She chews them for days until they are gone and she's had no bad effects from them at all such as diahrrhea, tummy upset etc. I'd say if your pup loves them go for it. There really isn't anything in them that's not natural and I don't think there's that much lime juice in them. I buy them through BestBullysticks.com for a low price in a 3 pack. Guest sirsmom
One likes them and the other will chew them if already been chewed a little. No diarrhea or vomiting but expensive.
Guest boondog
I thought about getting them for mine, but the ones I've seen are very expensive.
