It would be greatly appreciated. Amber had to take Oreo over to the 24 hour small animal hospital in Hutchinson where

Skittle was cared for when she went into liver failure. I know he will get the best of care there. Amber called to tell me he will be there till at least Monday, and of course, we are welcome to call and check on him any time of the day or night. He's our oldest kitty now at 10 years of age. We hope we have him a few more years. I lost my FIV+ Mister Kister at 15 years of age earlier this year, and a short time later Scout was shot with a pellet gun and died at the vet's. We never did find out who did it even though we offered a reward. None of the cats go outside at all anymore. Oreo has one of the sweetest dispositions, and the vet could tell that right away.

These days, 10 years is not that old for a well loved kitty. I hope that your Oreo is with you for many more years.

I have a 19 year old kitty here who's not feeling too well herself. But she's almost twice as old as Oreo!

Sorry for the delay in an update, but I woke up extremely ill this morning and have been pretty much out of it. Oreo has improved and is now eating on his own! They suspected hepatic lipidosis, so they were force-feeding until he ate on his own. He will be coming home tomorrow with some meds for his liver, and then needs to have a liver panel done again in two days. The power of GT prayers is awesome! :)
