Yes, its quite uncommon. In fact I can't remember ever hearing of an IG with osteo.

 

They're prone to luxating patellas, seizures, alopecia, broken legs, and eye problems (I forget the name of the eye issue).

 

PRA is the eye issue.

 

So glad Sarov is okay. I was thinking along the lines of maybe an anal gland issue, but I hear ya on the being paranoid.

I always panic when one of my hounds are limping or I find a lump. Comes from losing to osteo a couple of time.
