That awful suddenness catches you unprepared in any way, and adds an extra layer to your grief. Not only do you have a way with words, but you understood Holly so well. As I read your lovely tribute, I could imagine the pain of losing such a unique and wonderful dog, and there were smiles as well as tears. You will have a rainbow of memories because she had so many colors. Like you said....she was your joy. I'm so sorry you lost your precious girl.
