I just figured someone else clipped him, it wasn't anything major. I cleaned and kept it clean for him. Now, it's healed up, but the fur is gone and there's a black circle (kind of like a zit). And there's another small spot on his neck missing some fur. Any clue why he could be missing some fur back there? I'm worried and paranoid. Thanks in advance. Guest strwberrys645 Posted September 3, 2010 Share Posted September 3, 2010 If he is getting more areas of zits and fur loss I would take him to the vet...could be a staph infection of the skin. Staph infections can often start from a simple cut or wound. A round or two of antibiotics can often take care of the problem.
