I'm so glad Bo is better and can't wait to see him again on a Sunday walk so I can give him some scritches :)

Its Bandit, not Bo.

Hi Brian - yes, I knew that, it was a typo. Must have had Bo on the brain :) Sorry :(

Bo needs some scritches too with all the attention on Bandit.

Glad Bandit is better...

Bo is enjoying the effort to fatten up Bandit nicely. He's heading for a diet, if this keeps up.

How's Bandit doing today? ..... When I'm feeding one special, I usually give the other just a teaspoon or two of the good stuff. It lasts longer if you smoosh it up and smear it all over the inside of their bowl or smear it around on a large plate. :)

He's acting a lot more like himself, but he's puked up his dinner the last couple of days. I think he's eating too fast or too much at one time. He does well with treats and such.

I've gone to reducing the amount of everything Bo is getting, but still giving thee good stuff. The problem is Bandit is getting more and is a slower eater anyway, so I monitor Bo after he's done eating.

Been awhile since I updated.... Bandit has been eating and mooching like his ol' self for the last week or so. The weight is slowing being put back on him. He goes to the vet this afternoon for a check up and to have his zipper taken out.

Yeah!! Great news. So glad he is recovering well. I remember how shocked I was at the rapid recovery of my dog when he had GDV with the necessary surgery & splenectomy. He was trying to run & jump at a point I know I would still have been huddling in bed, remote in hand. lol Go Bandit!
