He has had diarrhea about once an hour from 6pm to 2am he is drinking water and his gums are wet so he is not badly dehydrated. Now his guts are screaming. Guest Energy11 Posted August 9, 2010 Share Posted August 9, 2010 I, personally, don't fast. I don't like having all that excess stomach acid, which causes more upset. If he were my dog, I'd give a little PLAIN yogurt, and a Pepcid AC, and of course, take him into the vet. I know there is some type of intestional virus going around, too. DBF's daughter said it sounded like she swallowed the cat!
