Guest katieandpadfoot
After reading the thread on sleeping it made me think of mine yawning all the time. Is this just something that goes along with sleep. I know it does with me!!
Guest scfilby
Yawning is a calming signal. Our greys do it a lot more then our beagle for some reason. I suppose it's tough to be calm as a beagle living with two goofy greys that can treat you like a stuffy.. Yawning tells others that you are calm and comfortable. They also yawn to relax, as sort of a come-down from excitement..
Guest greytmiles
Miles yawns nonstop first thing in the morning when he's waiting for me (asking for me) to get out of bed. I guess he's trying to help himself stay mellow while I'm getting it together to take him outside.
