PatricksMom
Vet thinks things should be just fine, she's got his customized anesthesia protocal all worked out over the years, thinks he won't need any extractions...but mom is still flipping out, as usual. I'd appreciate any good thoughts you can send our way. Quote Beth, Petey (8 September 2018- ), and Faith (22 March 2019). Guest krohe
Many prayers coming your way for an uneventful dental. I just went through it yesterday for the first time. 8 extractions! Scoop-dog is looped up on pain meds, and doing well. But I'm still a wreck!

PatricksMom
Thanks--the vet called, he did very well and didn't need any of his usual drugs to combate the agitation he tends to get when he comes out of anesthesia, so that's good. As usual, he's spoiled so he's hanging out in her office for recovery instead of back with the other dogs He did loose two back molars, but I guess 2 teeth at 11 isn't too bad. I usually give him canned dogfood the evening off (for a treat, no medical reason), and she thought he'd be fine to go back to eating his normal (wetted) food tomorrow. Does that sound right?
