Guest dramaqueen
For the past few days my Ruby has been giving out little yelps every now and then. I have checked her peds, in between her toes, and her left front leg, and nothing there. this morning she didn't jump onto the bed as usual. Has any one else had this experience? Thanks
macoduck
Not jumping onto the bed and yelping - sounds like her neck or back could be bothering her. How old is Ruby? Has she had any falls or rough play recently? MP_the4pack
Well........if it doesn't improve in a week, (with rest and quiet) I think xrays are in order. (if you're anything like me......I don't wait. I'm neurotic like that) You can also try a chiropractor.
Batmom
I'd see the vet -- full range-of-motion check, maybe bloodwork, maybe x-rays. If she's hurt her neck/back, she needs rest and anti-inflammatory meds. Guest dramaqueen
It never occured to me to think of her neck or back. I cinched up on her in the park because she's high prey & goes after little dogs--I could've pulled up too tight. I realyy hope it's not my fault because i would never forgive myself, but I will keep watch. Thanks
CaliforniaGreys
My vote would be for a visit to the vet. Agree with Batmom on the range of motion check Quote Missing my little Misty who took a huge piece of my heart with her on 5/2/09, and Ekko, on 6/28/12 For the sick, the lost, and the homeless
Guest kydie
when a dog "seems" in pain, and you can't spot an obvious injury, like a cut, scrape, I think a vet visit is in order, just me, it could be anything from a strain, to Lymes, as of yet, I haven't been able to get mine to tell me what hurts
