Guest zombrie
We took Manny to the vet for a bandage change and to have the vet look at the lump on his "good" foot. The vet was concerned, and almost certain, it was osteo. I nearly died when he said that. They took x-rays of both legs and it is not osteo. The hard lump on the foot is possibly either tendonitis or a soft tissue tumor. He gave an anti-inflammatory medication so if it gets smaller, there is no need for worry. Cross your fingers that that is what it is They also took the splint off of the broken leg!!! His leg is looking fantastic. If all goes well, his third and final surgery on the leg should be in 8 weeks.

phall
Brie - I'm so glad that it looks like it's not osteo - with all that Manny (and you and your Mom) have been through in the last months, that would be just too much. Thank you for taking such good care of this special boy. My thoughts are with you. Pat
