Please keep Stanley in your thoughts this morning. He has been having some hind end issues and and the vet is doing x-rays this morning at 10:15. I'm scared to death but know the power of prayer on GT. Thanks so much!!

Well, we really have no answers. The xrays showed 100% perfect hips and spine - no arthritis and no narrowing. She did find an old, healed fracture of a vertebra up near his shoulders which she said someone probably hit him on the back. I'm really po'd about that. But she said that wouldn't cause the leg problems. She also tested him for Lyme disease but that came back negative. She is going to check with the radiologist to see what the next step would be and mentioned an injection she has given her greyhound with excellent results for lameness/stiffness etc. can't remember the name of it but I expect to hear from her by the end of the week and I'll get the information then. Stanley did a little better on his walk tonight but, per the vet, I used his martingdale collar rather then the harness. She said the harness is throwing his gait off in his front legs. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers. I'll write more when I hear from the vet.
