Well, that $3.97 a piece is going to end up costing a whole, whole lot more. Stupid, stupid me...the Wubbas are now in the trash. The boys each had one and were minding their own business. House thought he needed Hitchie's and when Hitchie didn't want to give it up, ugliness ensued. Luckily (for them, not me) I was right there and was able to break them up pretty quickly but not before one of them (Hitchie I think) got a big chunk of my leg. That's one of the things that really sucks about living by yourself. I gave them a quick once over, wrapped a towel around my leg and took off for the ER. I thought it was bad but when I heard "skin graft", I knew it was even worse. They patched me up and I have an appointment with a plastic surgeon at MCV later this afternoon. Now for the boys...they were looking a little rough when I got home but I'd left the van at the hospital and couldn't take them to the ER Vet. The house looked like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre (you know how bad tails bleed!). My sister, God love her, mopped everything up for me. Got them to my vet first thing this morning and had to leave them and they may have to stay overnight. Hitchie is going to have quite a few stitches and House might lose most of his tail. Could you spare a few good thoughts for my boys? I'll update when I can.
