How can it be that your bright, youthful energy was snuffed just like that? How can it be? Where are you now? Oblivious? My brain says so, but my heart aches to believe you are free, running, forever young. I chose you. Your eyes wiped the miles away and you were in my heart the minute I saw a picture. You still are. Brian, Steve and I are all gutted. We loved you. We will always love you baby. You were our angel, whether you would have been a big star on the track or never run a single race. Emily is safe and happy and knows your love! I've never believed in oblivion, G-d seems to have better plans than that... She's in a good and special place.
