Guest bigorangedog
Not sure whether to post this here or in the Dietary forum, but since it has to do with chemo treatments I'll try here... I have 2 boys doing doxorubicin chemo for osteo right now, and I'd like to put them on some immune system strengthening supplements. Does anyone have any recommendations for brands that they like? I do Springtime Fresh Factors but it doesn't look like they have anything targeted at the immune system specifically. (Best if they are chewable and very palatable... Apollo is a royal PITA to pill, and he can dig them out of any hiding place.)
ahicks51
Selenium and vitamin D. I'd have no clue what dose to use with either; human dose would be 100-200 mcg (MICROGRAMS, not milligrams) of the former, and 3,000 to 10,000 IU of the latter.
