This is Sunny - he was diagnosed with a high grade cutaneous lymphoma about a month ago and given a 6-12 month prognosis, although several times they said it would be on the lower end. I am grateful for every day I have with him, no matter how short!

Now lets see photos of your babies fighting cancer so we can all celebrate them and the love they bring into our lives.

No picture to post, thank God but prays to you. May your time together be longer than expected. My heart aches of you.

Ace was recently diagnosed with chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and is about to start chemo and prednisone therapy. Her prognosis is very good, so, we are very grateful.

Here is my absolute favorite picture of her, taken several years ago before she went gray:

And here she is more recently...a year and a half ago at our group's reunion:

She is my first greyhound, and I'm hopeful that she will be around for many more years

Aww Ace is cute  I want this to be a celebration thread not something sad. I have cried a lot of tears for Sunny and I'm sure I will have many more when the day comes to say goodbye, but for now I just want to be happy with him.

Celebration it is. Here are a few photos of Gryffin having a wild time chasing a lure in a friend's back yard. I had the lure on the end of a lunge whip, and swung it around for him to chase. It was one of our favorite games. Gryffin has osteosarcoma, and although his lure-chasing days are over, I'm enjoying him as much as possible in the time we have left.

Maggie-Mae is 7 years old and 15 months post-amp for osteo and she doesn't let having 3 legs slow her down!

She runs with the 4 leggers and keeps up!

Most importantly, she is enjoying life!

this is my Bailey girl in a fabulous "Steve" photo from last Dewey. She is battling fibrosarcoma. We just found out yesterday that the chemo is not working so now we just love on her for a short time longer.

I've never found a place to upload my photos, but you can click the link in my siggy to see sweet Cougs at the accupuncturist after his cancer diagnosis. I consider him a cancer survivor because at 8 months post-spleen and hemangiosarcoma removal, he passed away due to LS complications without ever having a sign of cancer metastisis. I like to think he was fighting it for himself and Coach as she was not able to beat hers. But Cougar says "Screw You Cancer - I WON!"

Edited to add that my boy turned 13 last Sept.

What a beautiful pic of Cougs!!!

FYI, flickr.com and photobucket.com are both free photo-hosting sites. I use photobucket for places like this because you can simply hold your curser over a photo and it will pop up a little screen with the codes to input the photo to a board like this. If you have questions, just ask. ;)

I am so grateful to each of you for the love and courage you have to post your beautiful babies and your inspiring stories here! :)) Much love and white light to each of you and your furkids! No words can express my heartache for each pet lost to OS. It is a hideous and unrelenting killer, but it is up against a formidable foe - we who are "owned" by these beautiful pets whom God has blessed us with and entrusted to us! We will not give up until cancer is beaten!!
