Scooby172 Posted February 13, 2010 Share Posted February 13, 2010 (edited) My galgo Valor who is twelve is having some joint stiffness, up until recently he had no difficulties. Anyway had him at the vet for a check up (bloodwork, another urinalysis as he continues to wet the bed at night). Bloodwork was good, doing some more thyroid testing as his T4 was low (0.2 range is 1-4) and urinalysis is clear. He does have a sore on his behind where that boney part is which I am treating with antibiotic cream. Anyway, vet recommended a few supplements including, phycox for joints and senilife for it's antioxidant benefits. Anyone ever tried either? She also mentioned Dasuquin for joints. Thanks for any input, Linda, Valor, Keeva and Bella I currently use joint supplement from Springtime with fresh factors on Bella and Keeva who both have orthopedic difficulties.
