Guest IHeartDogs
I was wondering if arnica would help with hematomas and how much do I give to a 60 lb dog? Thanks in advanced.
inugrey
Arnica gel as I know it is an external rub so there is no dosing. I didn't realize arnica had an indigestible format Quote Colleen with Covey (Admirals Cove) and Rally (greyhound puppy)Missing my beloved boy INU (CJ Whistlindixie) my sweetest princess SALEM (CJ Little Dixie) and my baby girl ZOE (LR's Tara)
Guest Swifthounds
Arnica does indeed come in an ingestible form. If it's the homeopathic remedy tablet, you'd normally use a 10C tablet. Distilled water 4oz or so, a bit of vodka as preserving, and drop in the table and tap the bottle. Doseage should be around 3cc to one teaspoon and wait for results. Guest K9Cookies
We used both the gel and the pills with Bonnie. The pills were difficult because they are supposed to be dissolved in water, not swallowed. It was hard for us with 3 dogs drinking water from the same bowls. The gel was much easier. Hope that helps.
