dbullwinkel Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 (edited) Flex (my Ig) is seeing the specialist tomorrow for his eye problems...so glad it is soon, but the wait is terrible! not sure what we are dealing with, he does have cataracts, one pupil is larger than the other and does not get smaller with light. Vets also said something about his retina. Flex has a history of autoimmune problems and this may very well be related..I have been researching eye problems in dogs..needless to say nothing I am reading is making me feel good...has anyone used supplements with their dogs for their eye health? if so, can you give me your experiences? I do not plan on giving him anything until seen by vet. I am trying to plan my visit and questions. I am specificly thinking of vitamin supplements for the eyes. Currently he takes vitamin e 400 mg. Thank you. Donna Edited January 29, 2010 by dbullwinkel Quote
HopeForHounds Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I gave Eyebrite - euphrasia to Jake while he was recovering from an eye injury. It is in the new multivitamins for people that target specific areas of the boyd. We gave the 470mg caps twice a day.
