I just looked at the calendar and realized I forgot to give Peace her Heartguard med this month. It was due on Jan. 10th. I have an email in to the vet asking if I should give the dose or wait but thought someone might know on here. She is due for her annual exam/shots/heartworm test late Feb.

Give it now. The "monthly" dose kills of a certain life stage of the heartworm, if any are present. That life cycle window is actually 45 days, so it should/could be given every 45 days and be just as effective. The "every 30 day" dosing schedule was devised by vets/pharamaeutical companies who thought that would be easier for people to remember than every 45 days.
