Asking For Some Prayers For Shiloh

My redheaded non-grey went in last week for a wellness check and pre-dental labwork. She turned 12 on November 15th. She has some very bad teeth, and the vet said she will likely only have the front ones left. She's been on antibiotics since last Thursday, but I'm still very nervous. If you could muster up some prayers, good thoughts, positive mojo, I'd appreciate it. The vet will call when she's done, and I will be bringing her home later today barring any unforeseen complications. Thanks!

We all piled into bed with her last night about 8, and I pulled her up in front of me to pet her. She was really out of it. Poor bean apparently tried to get up at some point during the night as she was on the comforter on the floor where Biscuit usually sleeps. :(

This morning, after several minutes, she was awake enough to wag her tail, and she did navigate outside to potty. :)

Sorry I missed this DeVon- but happy to hear she had a good potty break. Hope the rest of the day was good too.

Just now seeing this - not sure how I missed it, but anyway, I'm glad to hear that your sweetie is doing alright after her surgery. She'll do just fine with only 12 teeth :)

Just seeing this. I hope is back to her old self tonight. :blush

She has completely astounded me today! When I got ready to feed everyone, she lined up with everyone else! Because I've had seniors for so long, I pre-soften the kibble, so I gave her a bowl full, she ate it all, and licked the bowl clean! Her meds went down perfect in a glob of peanut butter. She was feeling well enough by noon to jump up on the sofa and bark at the mail lady when she came up on the porch!:lol

She's been in and out several times, and it appears the meds are keeping the pain down and she's quite comfortable. No bloody drool since last night, and it seems she's adapting well to less teeth. :)

Thank you all so much for your prayers! Randy will be up for the next dental, but that will likely be February or March.
