Good News For Wizard

Our 9-yr-old Wizard had lost about 9 lbs over the last couple of years, some of it recently--Did bloodwork and thyroid testing, etc... all ok. The next step was abdominal and chest ultrasound to check for masses, but we tried monitoring it first. During the past 3 weeks I've soaked his kibble in water, just in case his teeth might be the problem. And of course he got some extra snacks. Took him to the vet for a weigh-in yesterday. The result? He's gained 6 lbs!

:)

Vet thinks it unlikely he'd have gained weight if it were something dire, but of course this means we need to look at those teeth next.

Anyway, this was my best holiday gift this year!

Also missing the best wizard in the world, Merlin (PA's Paris), the biggest Love I've ever known, and my sweet 80lb limpet, Sagan (Leon B), every single day.
