Guest mbarson
Today we had an appointment at the Vet Clinic for one of our Whippets (Bogie) who had a quick growing lump on one of his legs. The weather this morning was blowing snow and fairly cold. We decided to go anyway, a normal 45min drive through the country roads, so we set off early knowing that we may not make it on time. Fortunately, most of the roads had been cleared so we carried on and got there before our appointment time to discover that there had been a number of cancellations due to the snow and we went straight in. The lump was removed from Bogie's leg and as we were leaving we were given Maggies ashes in a nice grey urn. We brought Maggie back to our home. We came home knowing that our Maggie was now over the Bridge and running free and our dogs met us as usual when we came in. I showed them the urn but they were not really interested, just wanting to know what and where Bogie had been. We put Bogie in an x-pen because we didn't want any of them to bother him until his leg healed some. Oh Maggie, we do miss you and so do all our dogs. Thank you Maggie for being so happy living with us this last year.
