Guest Energy11 Posted October 30, 2009 Share Posted October 30, 2009 (edited) I really want to thank everyone sooo much for the thoughts and prayers for Syd and me on Wednesday 10/28/2009. It really means a lot to me. Energy11 has been such a strong shoulder for me to lean on, not only in this emergency but other times as well. Her knowledge of greys amazes me I was lucky enough to have had Syd for only 18 months and in that time he really wormed himself into my heart and the hearts of my other two babies. After my YoGuy passed away in June, Syd was attached to my hip and really helped me and my other baby (Magic) thru that horrible time. Syd was one of the most perfect babies. Not the first accident of any kind. No aggression, food,space,sleep,toy of any kind. There was no way he could be more perfect..He is so loved and missed. At least you have your Maggie, and she has you, right now. You two need eachother. I wish your boy, Syd, hadn't gotten so sick, but, as we said on the phone when we talked, by the time you got back to the vet, he was halfway to The Bridge. I am sooo glad you were there, with him, to help him across! Waiting there for him, was my late husband, Bob, "Keeper of the Rainbow Bridge," my Bold Energy, Dasher, Max, and all the other greyhounds and other animals! He is not there alone, I assure you, and he will be there when it is your time to cross "The Bridge." We love you very very much! Look how many people here on Greytalk care, too!
