Guest DundeeToddsMom
Todd got an ultrasound a few months back. They didn't find anything abnormal - said his kidney looked like an older dog's kidney - nothing to worry about. Just watch him and check blood in a few months. Fast forward to a week or so ago...Todd started being finicky with his food. This is not normal for him - he's usually a food hog! He would leave some of his meal in the bowl and walk away. So we went in for blood test and here are results Creatine was 1.9 now 2.1 Bun is stable at 26 Liver value 530 was 554 (normal is 10 to 150) The vet put him on Denamarin two tablets once a day. We have to check blood in a month. Anyone have any experience with this?
CaliforniaGreys
Misty's liver enzymes were very high due to the Cushings, but I don't remember now what her numbers were. My vet put her on a human drug, Ursodiol and I also had her on Milk Thistle Edited September 23, 2009 by cbudshome Quote Missing my little Misty who took a huge piece of my heart with her on 5/2/09, and Ekko, on 6/28/12 For the sick, the lost, and the homeless
